Paraskevi Plastira

Specialty: Psychologist MSc in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology Interventions

My name is Paraskevi Plastira, and I am a licensed psychologist.

From an early age, my interest in people and my passion for research led me to pursue studies in Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where I graduated with honors.

At the same time, I trained for two years in Positive Psychology Interventions at the Hellenic Society for Positive Psychology and received certification as a Mindfulness Practitioner from the Harmony & Creativity Center.

Subsequently, I completed my master’s (MSc) in Forensic Psychology at Coventry University, exploring the fear of crime and victimization in areas of Attica.

I have attended seminars on profiling perpetrators and victims of femicides, forensic graphology, anxiety and panic attacks, strengthening mental resilience, and more. Additionally, I participated in the Panhellenic Conference of Psychological Research by the Hellenic Psychological Society and the International Conference on Health Sciences at Coventry University.

Currently, I work as a Psychologist-Psychotherapist, providing psychological support through individual sessions in both Greek and English, and I am also training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, I am involved in writing articles.

Lastly, I volunteer as a Psychologist for a Psychological Support Helpline and am a member of the YWCA of Greece, a women’s volunteer organization, participating in actions that aim to inform and raise public awareness to combat online violence against women.
