Nikolaos Kalantzis

Specialty: Forensic Graphology

Nikolaos Kalantzis is a graduate of the Department of Physics at the University of Athens and has trained and specialized in Forensic Graphology in Greece, Germany, and the UK.

He holds two postgraduate degrees from Staffordshire University (a PgD in Forensic Science and an MSc in Forensic Graphology). He was a scientific collaborator with Staffordshire University from 2008 to 2018, during which time he became a researcher, participating in experiments and research programs.

He also delivers lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at institutions and organizations worldwide (UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia, etc.) and designs and delivers parts of postgraduate programs. He is a professional member of the MFSSoc and holds a diploma in Forensic Graphology from the Forensic Science Society, having successfully passed the exams in collaboration with Strathclyde University in 2008 (the professional diploma was renewed in 2013). Additionally, he has an active presence in research, publishing, and presenting his research activities at international forums.

Since September 2019, he has served as a member of the Steering Committee of the European Network of Forensic Handwriting Experts (ENFHEX), part of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI). He is also an expert for the International Criminal Court in The Hague, where he testified as a specialist in May 2022.
