Dimitrios Kalantzis
Specialty: Forensic Graphology
Dimitrios Kalantzis, a graduate of Panteion University and the Police Officers School of the City Police, and a graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens, was trained and specialized as a Forensic Graphologist at the Graphology Laboratory of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the Hellenic Police from 1977.
He served there until 1994, and from 1992 to 1994, he was the Director of the Forensic Laboratories of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
He has received further training in Forensic Graphology at the Criminal Laboratories of BUNDESKRIMINALAMT in Germany under the direction of Dr. Manfred Hecker. He is a regular member and a certified “Expert in Forensic Graphology” of the Gesellschaft für Forensische Schriftuntersuchung (GFS), and a professional member (MFSSoc) of the British Forensic Science Society.
Dimitrios Kalantzis has been registered as an expert on the list of the Council of Misdemeanors of Athens-Piraeus, etc., for Forensic Graphology since 1981. He is also a specialist in the examination of firearm and tool marks, with further training in Germany and at the FBI Academy.
