Vasileios is a graduate of the Hellenic Air Force Academy and holds a degree in Aeronautical Science with a specialization in Air Traffic Management and an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University. He is a certified Air Traffic Controller and holds a Private Pilot License (PPL). He is the first authorized operator and instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in Athens and the founder of Hellenic Drones, which became the first certified UAS training and certification organization for the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with the regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Vasileios has contributed to numerous cases involving unmanned aircraft and possesses extensive experience in the field, which stands out compared to the standards of both the Greek and European markets. His professional background includes successful participation in multiple cases, private investigations of incidents related to unmanned aviation, and activity as a consultant on UAS security matters and anti-Drone systems for high-profile individuals. These experiences have established him as one of the most reliable and thorough sources of knowledge in the unmanned aviation sector and equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to address related challenges.
